"Discovery". The first excursion-tourist group on the trophy-raid "Ladoga".

Travelers, driving enthusiasts and all who like to spend their vacation actively. Are you communicative and like to experience the unknown and new challenges, ATTENTION!
Especially for you, as a part of a world's largest off-road adventure - trophy-raid "Ladoga" -there has been a new class opened in the tourist group "Discovery".
We invite you to become participants of the legendary Russian adventure around Lake Ladoga, taking 9 days to cover more than 1200 km of roads in the Leningrad Region, Karelia and Karelian Isthmus.
Within the program of the sightseeing tour for the trophy-raid "Ladoga" you will:
1. Take part in the festive Starting ceremony in St. Isaac's Square (Saint-Petersburg)
2. Visit the most spectacular historical and natural places of interest of the Leningrad Region, Karelia and Karelian Isthmus.
3. Participate in day-time "Road-book Orienteering"
4. Visit the most spectacular places along the Special Routes of the trophy-raid..
5. Participate in a Beach Race on the shore of Lake Ladoga.
6. Participate in the festive Finishing ceremony of the trophy-raid "Ladoga"
7. Enjoy the "Initiation…" into the group of fellow competitors past and present.
Your guides for the group "Discovery":
You will be lead by a group of specialists in the off-road field, experts in the Leningrad Region, Karelia and Karelian Isthmus will be guiding you through the regions. These guides will answer your technical questions, help you with navigation, lead you to various points of interest along the way giving you some history of the areas.
To become a participant of the group "Discovery" group, you need:
1. The desire to participate in the legendary Russian adventure.
2. Any car in good working order, the roads are not your average highway.
3. 9 days free from May, 29th till June 6th 2010.
Cost of the sightseeing tour (group "Discovery")
One vehicle (two crew members) - 8000 Rub.
Crews will be supplied with:
1. Stickers for vehicles with competition's logo
2. T-shirts with competition's logo
3. Special maps with marked routes
4. GPS-points
5. "Road book" - the document, where all the necessary information is published (schedule, route, organizers' phone numbers, camping locations and other important information)
