It includes distances between starting point at St.Isaac’s Square and starting point of the first Special Stage, total length of all special stages, distances from finish of special stages till camping locations, length of additional stages, etc...
Total length of special stages of the trophy-raid “Ladoga” is 120 km. Route of the trophy-raid from finish of the stage to camping and from camp to start of special stage may go along public roads, but special stages are set along real and tough off--road.
Special Stage (SS) of the trophy-raid “Ladoga” – is an off-road part of the route with limited time of passing, described in a road-book, given by organizers. Crews move through SS according to this book. Start, finish and time limit abidance are controlled by judges.
Supplementary competition of the trophy-raid “Ladoga” – is a separate lap with time limit, but not a Special Stage. Traditionally they are – “Orienteering with a road-book”, “Dune race” and “Beach race”. These outstanding competitions give sportsmen, who have not conquered bogs and rivers, a chance to prove their skills in other, fast-speed off-road disciplines. For example, in a group “Tourism”, if several crews have identical results of SS passing, a supplementary lap will help to define a winner of the trophy-raid.
Scoring groups of the trophy-raid “Ladoga” – is a voluntary definition of participants into groups “Sport”, “Raid”, “ATV” and “Tourism”. Groups “Sport” and “ATV” conquer off-road individually, on a stop-watch. Group “Raid” unites into teams (2-3 cars) and conquers SS also with timer, but altogether. To get scoring it is necessary to come to finish by the whole team. For a group “Tourism” it is only obligatory to complete SS within time limit. A winner is the one, who completes the most number of Special Stages.
